So, it is embarrassing to admit, but on November 22, I got VAC banned for cheating. I want to make one point clear: I have never, nor ever will use hacks on the SXG server. I merely used these hacks as a trolling tool. I am getting a new account. My new account is "Boatvan". Friend me please. I am working on buying CS:S again. I was hoping to be able to get into sxg again.

Heh, this happened to me like 6 years ago. I installed em just to see what it was like, went into a random server and then next thing you know ....


The ban lifted for me after about 30 days or so. I never got a new account or anything, i just stopped playing for about a month. So, if things are still the same, your ban will prolly be lifted. No more hacks for you huh?

I thought VAC bans were OBV perm. They would only lift a VAC ban if it was a mistake now and days at least. Fuck all the fagot hackers. gg buying your gaming library again.

When you get vacc'd, you're only vacc'd from the game you got vacc'd on.

So you can still play on VAC servers in other games.

You get banned from an engine. If you get banned in CS:S you get banned from the hl2 engine games

hl1 engine (1.6, all the fun shit) = VAC1
hl2 engine (Source, hl2, any other game with the hl2 engine0) = VAC2.
